And because each client is unique in what they need, we offer various design consultation services to help them achieve their design goals. Whether you need a full-service design package or just need some help with color, we have got you covered.
Full-Service Design Consultation:
As professional interior designers, we understand the significance of creating a functional and aesthetically pleasing space. DNI’s Full-service Design Consultation spans anywhere from 30 minutes to an hour and is usually in person unless an exception is requested and agreed to.
Meeting in person is essential to establishing a happy and balanced relationship with our clients. By walking through the space together, we can discuss potential design ideas or concerns and ensure that we clearly understand your needs and preferences — it rarely, if ever, is as effective on video and certainly not over the phone.
During the consultation, we carefully assess the space and identify any potential design challenges or opportunities. We want to understand your style, preference, budget, and timeline.
To keep everything in order and prevent surprises, we draft a letter of agreement outlining the scope of work, timeline, and costs associated with the project. This agreement ensures the client and our team have clear expectations and deliverables.
Of course, some clients wish to be more hands-on, genuinely enjoy the process, and want to see the project come alive, and we have something just for them.
One-Time Design Consultation:
During this consultation, we will visit your space and spend two to three hours discussing your design needs and ideas. We will look at the existing furniture and decor and offer suggestions on rearranging or adding to it to achieve the look and feel you desire. We provide floor plan schematics, retail furniture, lighting, and window treatment options.
Our consultation service is very hands-on; we may move furniture around to see how different layouts work. We bring a tape measure to ensure that all measurements are accurate and work with your space.
You can reach out and request a one-time design consultation. After the consultation, we provide links to all the retail items discussed during our session. You will have the freedom to order these items yourself based on our guidance and recommendations.
Many clients love their furniture and room layouts but want a refresh. And that’s where our last consultation comes in.
Color Consultation:
We offer a separate color consultation service during which we will come to your space with our paint decks and provide you with three color options for each room. We provide that all of the colors flow well together while still giving differentiation between them. All colors will be at the same saturation level to ensure your space’s cohesive look and feel.
